During the reading programs, your child will:
• Be involved in a setting filled with activities and prompts that encourage meaningful conversation and recognition of print.
• Engage in activities such as rhyming and letter sounds; writing practice using a writing center and story dictation.
• Learn alphabetic knowledge and letter discrimination through computer-based instruction

Pre-Reading Program
Little Letter RockStars
Children, who develop phonemic awareness and letter sound early on, are more likely to be strong, successful readers! This program introduces letters and their sounds to children through media, technology and games! Classes run one hour and are held three times a week for three weeks. $45 is due at the beginning of each week, regardless of attendance.
RockStar Reader Level 1
This program will begin by focusing on a set group of sight words. Words have been chosen based on the frequency of their appearance in text. This way, your child will feel confident right away noticing text. As each group is mastered, a new group will be introduced. The kids will play games and complete center activities all encompassing sight words. After students become familiar with sight words, text rich with sight words will be introduced, and confident readers will bloom! Class is held for 1 hour, twice a week for 9 weeks. Each 1 hour class is $15. $30 is due at the beginning of each week regardless of attendance.
RockstarReader Level 2
This program is an extension to the Rockstar Reader Level 1 program, and involves the introduction of word families, blends and long and short vowel sounds. Circle time activities are paired with group games and individual writing activities to further enhance children's reading abilities. Class is held for 1 hour, twice a week for 8 weeks. $30 is due at the beginning of each week regardless of attendance.
Kindergarten Enrichment
This enrichment class offers small group sessions for Kindergarten age children who could benefit from differentiation of the literacy and math skills they are learning in school. During this time, children will be introduced to a variety of interesting topics and projects will be completed to compliment the topics. Each one hour session runs 8 weeks. Cost per week is $15, which is due at the beginning of the week, regardless of attendance. Morning and afternoon classes will be held to accommodate both am/pm schedules.
My Magnificent Math offers enrichment in the areas of addition, subtraction, place value, and time. Games and engaging activities are used in order to maximize learning for your child! Math classes are held once a week, and cost $15 per class.
